  1. Standard Terms and Conditions of Trading
  • These terms govern all orders placed with De Taste (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, you agree to comply with these terms.t is your responsibility to check through all details in the order confirmation are complete and accurate as this is the document we work to when completing your order.
  • We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website or provided upon request.
  • Orders are subject to product availability and our acceptance.
  1. Pricing
  • All products are priced in Singapore Dollars (SGD). We do not charge Goods & Services Tax (GST).
  • Additional charges (e.g., delivery fees, custom design fees) will be communicated before order confirmation.
  1. Orders and Payments
  • Order Process:
    • Orders must be placed via our website, in-store, or by phone.
    • Custom cake orders require 48 hours’ advance notice.
  • Payment:
    • Full payment is due upon order confirm. Accepted methods: credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or paynow
  • Order Changes:
    • Changes to orders must be requested at least 7 days before pickup/delivery, subject to product availability.
  1. Cake Decorations and Serving Sizes
  • Custom Designs:
    • We strive to replicate requested designs but cannot guarantee exact matches due to artistic variations.
    • Provide clear images or descriptions for custom orders.
  • Serving Sizes:
    • Cake sizes are approximate:

                   6-inch cake: 5-8 pax / 8-inch cake: 10-15 pax / larger tiers will be specified upon ordering.

  1. Product Dissatisfaction
  • Contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order if unsatisfied. Provide photos and order details.
  • If there are any forms of dissatisfaction, Kindly WhatsApp us immediately. We do not entertain any forms of dissatisfaction 24 hours after the products have left the Bakery to give fair opportunity to assess the nature of the complaint.
  • Both Parties agree to not post any negative information about the other arising out of this agreement or event on any online forum or website without providing advance written notice of the intended content thereof, and providing the other party with a prior opportunity to resolve any issues between the parties amicably.
  • Once payment has been handed over this confirms that decoration is as requested, and no further claims can be made. Customers who have requested sketches will be sent a detailed sketch or written description and use of photographs, of their cake/s prior to the celebration. It is the customers responsibility to check that this meets their requirements and to raise any issues with us if there are any discrepancies.
  • Complaints regarding the decoration of celebration cakes can be easily repaired so errors of this nature must be pointed out upon delivery/collection so as to give us the opportunity to correct them.
  • If the complaints pertain to the quality of the cake, the cake, or remainder of the cake/tier, must be returned to us as soon as possible after cutting and within 24 hours of collection/delivery to ensure that we are able to fairly assess the nature of the complaint.
  • No refunds will be issued for:
    • Dissatisfaction due to subjective preferences (e.g., flavor, color shades).
    • Damage caused by customer mishandling.
  1. Deliveries
  • he recipient of the cake order is fully responsible for checking the details of the order of the cake received which include (decorations, knives and candles) are correct and in good condition. Any disputes regarding damage to the cake or incorrect cake design will not be entertained if not raised to the driver at the time of delivery. De taste will not be responsible for any damage that occurs after the delivery has been completed for more than 30mins.
  • If there is no one present to receive the order during the delivery The driver will only wait for 15 mins. After which, driver may leave the items at a safe location in nearby the door. We will not be responsible for the conditions of these items if they are collected.
  • If there is an issue with the cake design such as a missing decoration or wrong size, please call immediately at 88132162 so that we can provide assistance.
  1. Pickups
  • Location: All collections must be made before closing time of the day. Items that are not collected by closing time will be kept for collection on the next working day. Refund requests will not be entertained.
  • The person collecting the items, including couriers engaged by the person who ordered the item is fully responsible for checking that the details of the order of the cake received (including of candles, decorations and knives, ) are correct and in good condition. Any disputes regarding damage to the item or incorrect cake design will not be entertained if not raised to us at the time of collection. We will not be responsible for any damage that occurs after the items have left our premises.8 Refunds
  1. Cancellation
  • Cancellation by Customer:
    • Cancellations made 7 days before pickup/delivery may receive a deposit refund.
    • Custom orders are non-refundable once production begins.
  • Cancellation by Us:
    • Full refunds will be issued if we cannot fulfill your order.
  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
